and implements industrial technologies which are specific to the group. SIAS's
unique fruit preparation process has been developed internally and is constantly
being improved by its team of engineers.
The last few
years have also seen SIAS-MPA increase its investments and its industrial control
of the supply chain in order to offer its most demanding customers full traceability
for all raw materials used in its production ranges.
SIAS-MPA exports
its know-how all over the world and develops the synergies between its various
production units with regard to technological monitoring, co-ordination and management
of strategic projects, engineering, innovation diversification and risk
analysis.
SIAS-MPS's Technical
Centre for Research and Development
fully
contributes to the Group's expansion. The main missions of this Centre located
in France are to acquire and consolidate the expertise and key know-how of the
groupÕs operations. The fields covered are agronomy, physicochemical research,
rheology, sensorial analyses and technology.
SIAS-MPA's Research
Centre provides each of its affiliates with the technical support, training and
expertise it needs. A team of 20 is permanently dealing with the affiliates' requirements
in order to solve the matters which fall outside the scope of their operating
skills.
Thanks to the
unique research and analysis laboratories of its affiliate, SAN GIOGIO FLAVOURS,
SIAS-MPS also benefits from an unmatched expertise in the field of food and drink
flavouring.
Moreover, as
a wholly owned affiliate of Groupe Pernod Ricard, SIAS-MPA benefits from the large-scale
resources of Pernod Ricard Reseach Centre (C.R.P.R.) in such fields as agronomy
(development of new fruit varieties, automatic picking etc.), biotechnology, chemical
and nutritional analyses.
